This session will focus on the practices his team has found to be most effective in developing a robust parent and family giving program in collaboration with prospect development staff.

Speaker:
Craig O’Donnell is the Senior Associate Director of the Parents Giving Program at Tufts University, where he helps spearhead family philanthropy across the undergraduate experience. Joining Tufts in 2012, Craig focuses on cultivating and soliciting major gifts and leadership annual fund gifts from parent prospects on the west coast and mid-Atlantic. He co-manages Tufts’ Parents Leadership Council as well as assists in the development and management of Tufts’ Parents and Family Weekend, parent philanthropic solicitations and communications, and general philanthropic engagement. He previously held positions in leadership annual giving and stewardship at Northeastern University and MIT, and started his career in legislative affairs in California.
