Power BI is an interactive data visualization software product developed by Microsoft with the primary focus on business intelligence. Power BI is a collection of software services, apps and connectors that work together to turn unrelated sources of data into coherent, visually immersive, and interactive insights.

Speaker: Thomas Brown, Senior Prospect Research Officer, Gillette Children's

Tom is a current board member and in-coming President (2024 – 2026) of APRA-MN.  He is currently with Gillette Children’s, serving as the hospital’s prospect researcher for the past 5 years.  Tom has worked in Prospect Development for almost 15 years; first starting in the political field working for a U.S. Senator and Congresswoman doing constituent research and outreach, and then transitioning into the nonprofit sector after moving to Minnesota in 2015.  Tom has a B.S. in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay (where he also is a guest lecturer); and has an M.A. in International Relations and Economic Development from Northern Arizona University.
